Qatar Airways Brings its Award-Winning Qsuite To the U.S. Capital
Qatar Airways kicks off 2018 by introducing the Qsuite on Washington, D.C. flights, marking the second U.S. destination to offer the innovative new Business Class product. The groundbreaking Qsuite was first introduced on flights to London Heathrow Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and made its highly-anticipated U.S. debut last month at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed in Business Class and customisable private cabins for up to four people, setting a new standard in luxury travel.
A patented Qatar Airways product, the Qsuite is already fast collecting awards for bringing a First Class experience to the Business Class cabin as it features the industry’s first-ever double bed in Business Class and privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room – a first of its kind in the industry. Launched at ITB Berlin in March 2017 to outstanding global acclaim, the Qsuite has set a new standard for luxury travel. Qatar Airways received the ‘Best Airline Innovation of the Year’ award at the 2017 ULTRAS (Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards) in London last year for the Qsuite and added an array of new destinations to its extensive global route network, including Chiang Mai, Thailand; Sohar, Sultanate of Oman; Prague, Czech Republic and Kyiv, Ukraine. The airline has announced upcoming service to Pattaya, Thailand; Canberra, Australia; Penang, Malaysia and many more while serving 10 cities across the U.S., including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
The award-winning airline also received a number of accolades including ‘Airline of the Year’ by the prestigious 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards. This is the fourth time that Qatar Airways has been given this global recognition.
