Crabby Goodness Fresh From The Sea

Crabby Goodness Fresh From The Sea

Crab-lovers can now rejoice as Sakanaya Fish Market by Ryoshi introduces exciting new dishes at its rustic outlet in Sunset Road, featuring all the delights of the world’s favourite crustacean. Four new additions are available beginning this month; the ideal light bites, the Crab Claws are delicious crab meat coated in flour, egg and breadcrumbs and then fried until cooked through. Great for children, you can also order this dish as an appetizer or to accompany any other crab dish. Another fantastic option are the Crab Cakes, a satisfying mix of crab meat, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper with egg, mayonnaise and mustard. Both these dishes will be the perfect appetizer before the main course, such as the new Crab Meat Fried Rice also known as the Nasi Goreng with Crab Meat.

A surprising and interesting new option is the Jellyfish Salad served with tomatoes and fresh greens. Typically made with sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chili oil, and ginger and thinly sliced marinated jellyfish, this dish is very cool and refreshing to the palate with a unique texture and crunch. It makes for the perfect pickled dish to accompany your lunch or dinner. If you’re a vegetarian, do try Sakanaya’s all time favourites – the Burrito with Smoked Tempeh & Tofu or Taco with Smoked Tempeh & Tofu. Using pita or corn bread, all of the above are rolled into a tantalizing wrap and filled with Jalapeno Sauce, Avocado Spread and Tomato Salsa for the most delightful meal.
