Set on Sanur’s breathtaking Sindhu Beach, Kayumani Seaside Sanur is the epitome of elegance. Just like everything under the Kayumanis brand, Kayumanis Seaside Sanur is impeccable and in a league of its own; the restaurant itself is an ode to traditional Indonesian grace and elegance, astounding with attention to detail throughout the interior and exterior with carved details such as tiered ornate roofs and raised timber ceilings, beautifully painted tiles, golden oblique lights and a romantic touch of the tropics for a warm and inviting experience that extends from the indoor seating area to the outdoor terrace by the beach. It is undeniably a stylish bistro steeped in old-world charm with an element of colonial Indonesia infused with island sophistication. Headed by Chef Wayan Budhiarta, the menu here brings together the wealth of the archipelago in a glorious presentation from the kitchen to your table. Expect all-time Balinese and Indonesian favourites with an elevated twist such as the Udang Sambal Matah, grilled prawns tossed with sambal matah and served with a fresh local salad; Sup Bontot, Indonesian traditional oxtail soup with potato, tomato, celery and crispy emping. The Lontong Komplit is a fascinating local dish, featuring rice cakes soaked in special turmeric sauce and served with meat, seafood, vegetables and sambal. Those who prefer a heavier option can try the Iga Bawi Mepanggang, grilled baby pork ribs served with crunchy vegetables and rice and the Nasi Campur Bali.
Open daily from 6am for sunrise breakfast, the dining concept at Kayumanis Seaside Sanur is fluid, which means that guests are not confined by menu constraints. Healthy initiatives include the Go-Green Breakfast and free Infused Water for everyone including passers-by. In addition to Indonesian and Balinese, guests can also order timeless beachclub classics like burgers, pastas, pizzas and sandwiches. Headed by Chef Wayan Budiartha who brings with him 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Wayan has been a valuable part of the Kayumanis team working tirelessly in the kitchen of Gong Restaurant at The Gangsa, which was later re?branded as Kayumanis Sanur. Passionate about using fresh ingredients and honouring the authentic flavours of Indonesian cuisine, he is now recreating some of his signature dishes at Kayumanis Seaside Sanur.
