Housed within a beautiful bamboo structure, with interiors are by Singaporean Emma Maxwell, Makan Place is a culinary haven set away from Legian’s busy streets. Makan means “eat” in the Indonesian language and where better to be fed than this cozy 100-seater nest offering delicious Western and Asian cuisine with generous portions perfect for sharing by two people or more. Signatures include 800-gram Balinese Crackling Pork Knuckle and Grilled Catch of The Day. There are fresh salads with delicious dressings and other vegetarian selections for those who are on a no-meat diet.
