World Surf League has been released its championship tour calendar in which Bali is chosen again to be the host of the next world class surfing competition, World Championship Tour 2019. This is going to be the fourth times for the World Surf League to run its event in Bali after 2008, 2013, and 2018. The competition will take place at Keramas Beach, Gianyar on May 13th to May 24th, 2019. The beach is chosen because of its lovely big waves and complete accommodations.
The Commercial Director of WSL, Scott Hargreaves, has met with Bali Deputy Governor Cok Ace and Tipi Jabrik from the Indonesian Surfing Association (PSOI) in discussing the upcoming event.
“In order to make this event successful, we would like to ask some help and support from Indonesian government and especially Bali.” said Scott Hargreaves in the meeting. Aside from support by the government, he also called for the local media supports in publishing the event.
Tipi Jabrik from PSOI also hoped that all the components will gather and act together for taking a good care of the beach to ensure a smooth and successful event. Cok Ace, the Deputy Governor of Bali also gave his full support towards the upcoming World Championship Tour 2019 by World Surf League.
