Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu is the first Safehotels Certified hotel in Bali. The hotel has reached Premium Level, within its first year of operations. This prestigious accolade confirms the high safety standards of the hotel.
Safehotels is an independent hotel safety and security certification company with a global reach across the world. This certification, based on the Global Hotel Security Standard®, is recognized by hotel and travel associations, the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) and major insurance brokers. The partnership of Radisson Hotel Group with Safehotels Alliance, the founders of the Global Hotel Security Standard has strengthened the hotels’ proposition and provides owners and operators with an independent, professional, third party evaluation.
The criteria for the certification consists of more than 220 elements, which are organized within six sections including a hotel property safety and security walkthrough; process, training and organization; security equipment; fire procedure & training; risk prevention and crisis management.
“The safety and security in the resort premises have always been an undisputable priority for us. It is important for us to provide a safe working environment for our employees and reassurance to Guests, Travel Agents, and MICE Planners who entrust their stay to Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu” said Bjorn-Henning Buth, General Manager of the resort. “Being a Safehotels Certified property is especially valued by corporate and government clients who require the highest level of safety for their accommodation.”
