This is an exhibition of artwork based on photography. Under the banner of Lingkar Community, seven young professional photographers work to redefine the conventions of photography, transcend the boundaries of the art of photography as well as the domain of the profession of photographer. They explore various ideas, techniques, and material to expand and enrich the aesthetic vocabulary of photography as a medium of expression in the field of contemporary art. The exhibition brings forward photographic work in various modes of presence and presentation, two-dimensional as well as three-dimensional, including installation, proclaiming a new movement in Bali to establish the power of photography as a significant creative basis in the development of visual art today. Well worth a trip for a lovely day out with lunch on the way.
