High Season Supplement
During the high season periods a surcharge of US$20.00 net per room, per night will be added to all rate
categories. The high season is defined as follows:
July 20, 2008 through September 30, 2008 inclusive.
December 20, 2008 through January 05, 2009 inclusive.
Please note, there will be no compulsory meal plans during the high season periods
or during the year end
festive season.
Validity.
The above rates are valid from April 01, 2008 through March 31, 2009
Additional Person
All rooms are designed to accommodate a third person (child only) on the day bed/sofa.
Should the third
person be an adult, then the day bed/sofa will be replaced with an extra bed. A maximum of three adults
only is permitted per room.
Children’s Policy
Children under the age of twelve (12) years sharing a room with their parents will be free of charge on room
only. The supplement for breakfast will be US$10.00 net. Children five (5) years of age and under twelve
(12) years of age will also be extended a 30% discount on any buffet dinners available at time of stay.
However, children under the age of five (5) years will be offered breakfast and any buffet dinners available
free of charge. An a la carte children’s menu is also available in the Maya Sari Restaurant.
Baby cots and connecting rooms are available on request. Normally we allow only one (1) child per room
with parents. However, with small children we are more flexible in this policy depending on age.
In consideration of other guests and to preserve the peace and tranquility of the Spa at Maya and its
surrounding environs, the River Café and spa pool, we respectfully request you advise clients in advance of
arrival that children are not permitted into this area of the resort. A children’s pool is available adjacent to
the main pool close by the lobby in the central area of the resort.
Check-in
Every effort will be made to have rooms available by 2.00 pm.
Check-out
Our check-out time is 12.00 noon. Any extension on this time (on request and subject to availability) will
result in additional charges being made. An extension to 6.00 pm will be charged at 50% of the contract
rate. After 6.00 pm, an additional night will be charged.
Room Allotment
Allotments of rooms and villas are available on request. They are not automatically extended from one
contract period to the next. In the event of an allotment being offered, the resort reserves the right to
periodically review the allotment and adjust the space originally reserved should utilization be less than
60%. In the event of any allotment recall, the Resort will give two (2) months notice in writing.
The automatic release of allotment space will be fourteen (14) days, except during the high season periods,
when the release will be thirty (30) days. The high season periods are defined as follows;
July 20, 2008 through September 30, 2008 inclusive
December 20, 2008 through January 05, 2009 inclusive
Deposits
The Resort also reserves the right to request deposits to secure reservations as deemed necessary. Advise of
deposit requirement will be given at time of confirmation.
Terms of Payment
Where credit facilities have been established, payment is due within thirty (30) days of client’s departure or
upon receipt of invoice, unless other credit arrangements have been mutually agreed upon. Failure to settle
accounts within the specified period could result in credit facilities being withdrawn or space released.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy
Cancellation of FIT reservations must be received no later than 72 hours local time, prior to arrival to avoid
a cancellation charge being made. Failure to comply with this policy or if a client is a no-show, will result in
a one night room charge being made. Group cancellation must be received not less than thirty (30) days
prior to arrival to avoid a one night cancellation fee being charged.
A group cancellation or reduction in room requirements in less than ten (10) days prior to arrival will result
in a 50% of entire stay being levied. A group no-show will be charged for the entire stay.
