The Mulia Spa is spacious, as is the whole resort, which feels peaceful, harmonious and welcoming. To begin the Mulia Spa experience before the chosen treatment, the award winning, state-of-the-art Wellness Suite by Sweet Spa is a perfect start, with its Sauna, Steam Room and Ice Room, to completely unwind and prepare the body and mind for total relaxation. The wood Sauna offers an eucalyptus fragrance, the Aroma Steam Room has emotional showers, with fruity flavours (peppermint and passion fruit at the time of writing) ongoing monthly along with chakra cleansing colours and soothing sounds. With the Ice Room being the first in the Asia Pacific region, with a central oxygen ice fountain to wake up a sluggish metabolism, again with Chromatherapy Chakra cleansing colours, it is the perfect combination with the other two warmer varieties. The Hydro Tonic Pool with hot and cold-water pools are a great way to detox, boost the metabolism and soothe aching joints. Outside is a meditation area, also perfect for yoga as well as a Spa Beverage Bar offering natural, healthy and local grown fruit, juice and herbal infusions.
Into one of the 20 spacious and luxurious treatment rooms (there are 16 singles and 4 doubles all with state of the art bathrooms) and you might like to indulge in one of the signature treatments, perhaps an ‘Around The World Massage’ for 90 minutes starting with a deep tissue massage, carried out by two therapists working in harmony focusing on energy point stimulation and gentle friction strokes to bring the body back in balance and re-energize. For sure, once is not enough, and you’ll be wanting to come back to the Mulia Spa very soon.
