Kayumanis Jimbaran is a beautiful example of how holidays and villa living coupled with Balinese hospitality should be. From the moment one enters into the tranquil grounds, with cooling fishponds around the stylish reception area the guest feels cared for and at peace. Now five years on since the opening, it still feels brand new, although the landscaping is now remarkable. As is the size of each of the villas, of which there are 19, and two different layouts, which are extraordinarily spacious with a lap pool you can really do laps in, rather than the proverbial plunge variety. Upon arrival you are offered a decent cocktail with alcohol (i.e. Mojitos, Cosmopolitans etc) and a delicious array of nouveau cuisine amuse bouche – rather grown up compared to the ubiquitous ‘fruit punch’, as well as daily complimentary free flow sunset cocktails at the exclusive Tapis Restaurant from 6 – 8pm. For those who prefer, complimentary high tea can be taken any time of day, as can breakfast; all the ingredients to make you really feel carefree and on holiday.
Kayumanis Jimbaran now extends its impeccable service to all members of the family, even the little ones, who are catered to with miniature robes, food & beverage menus, fun and games, arts and crafts as well as cultural pursuits. The in-house child sitting services will leave time for each member of the family to experience Bali within their own space with age appropriate pleasures. Although the exclusive spa can also be used to soothe away life’s’ aches and pains from an extended choice of treatments by the attentive therapists in an extremely calming setting.
