LOVING COMMUNITY ACTIONS BY AVILLA
Avilla Hospitality, a growing Hospitality Management company based in Bali, recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary. To celebrate, Avilla Funtastic team shared their happines with the members of Sidhi Astu Orphanage, Raya Tuka – Dalung, and also in conjunction with Bale Udang Mang Engking held a blood donation event. These social events are chosen to express the company’s cultures known as Six Avilla Beliefs. Officially started in 2010, Avilla Hospitality now is managing nine brands including hotels, villas, a spa and a restaurant.

WELCOME TO BALI, BABY ELEPHANT FAJAR!
The Elephant Safari Park & Lodge, Taro, Bali, welcomed a new baby elephant. After a 22.5 month gestation period, Yanti, a 28 year old Sumatran elephant had an easy and trouble free birth with no help needed from staff or vet on stand by. Born at 5.50 am, Yanti greeted the baby with a loud cry. Then, the baby girl was named Fajar, the Indonesian translation of “dawn”. This birth brings the total number of Sumatran elephants at Taro to 31. Now, Fajar and mother can be viewed at the Elephant Safari Park & Lodge at its open enclosure.
