A Giant Octopus Monumental Art at Berawa Beach Arts Festival
Berawa beach will feature its most-anticipated The 2nd Berawa Beach Arts Festival (BBAF) on 26 May 2019 until 29 May 2019. This year, BBAF returns with a spirit of “Pasisi Lango: Deep Blue Spirit”, featuring a giant octopus monumental art.
According to the Artistic Director of BBAF, I Ketut Putra Yasa, the 20-metre artwork is still under construction, and it is made by woods and bamboo and curated by dozens of art workers from Bali. This phenomenal art piece is going to be the icon for this year’s Berawa Beach Arts Festival.
Berawa Beach Arts Festival will be held during May 26th until May 29th, presenting a ground record-breaking of a thousand Kecak dancers, a diverse range of Balinese traditional dances, and Balinese music and arts– showcasing a series of local talents in dance and music. The festival will also feature a workshop in raising awareness to marine lives.
