Everyone’s favorite Japanese restaurant, Sushi Tei, is now Halal certified. The restaurant brand had recently announced its acceptance of the halal certification from the Institute for Food Medicine and Cosmetics of the Indonesian Ulema Council (LPPOM MUI).
The handover of the halal certificate was a symbolic event, attended by the Director of LPPOM MUI, Dr. Ir. Lukmanul Hakim, Msi, and the Director of PT Sushi Tei Indonesia, Sonny Kurniawan which took place during the holy month of Ramadan, in May 2019 at Sushi Tei Restaurant in Lotte Shopping Avenue, Kuningan, South Jakarta. The new halal certification is expected to increase the levels of comfort and confidence amongst Indonesian customers as they enjoy Sushi Tei’s delicious and authentic Japanese delicacies at all Sushi Tei outlets in Indonesia located in Bali, Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, Surabaya, Makassar, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru, Batam and Palembang.
