Everybody loves jazz! In conjunction with the highly anticipated Ubud Village Jazz Festival 2019 that is taking place in Ubud on the 16 and 17 August, GWK Cultural Park will be hosting “Jazz On The Hill”, an exciting musical pre-event in collaboration with the organizers of Ubud Jazz Festival.
GWK Jazz On The Hill will take place at Indraloka Garden, with performances by highly-acclaimed international jazz musicians. The stage overlooks the valleys of Ungasan, giving both guests and performers alike fantastic views of South Bali.
Ubud Village Jazz Festival is an annual music festival held in the heart of Ubud. It was first held in 2013, making this year’s festival the 7th for UVJF with the theme “CERTAINLY! Indonesia” .
GWK Jazz on the Hill pre-event at GWK Cultural Park will feature international Jazz musicians from Austria, Michaela Rabitsch and the Robert Pawlik Quartet. Famous for their international hit single “Walk in the Sun”, they will amaze with their 90-minute performance featuring unique arrangements of their songs with the rhythm of Michaela Rabitsch’s trumpet. This only virtuosoof Austrian female jazz trumpeter is also referred to as the “female version of Chet Baker” by one of American jazz magazines; Jazzscene. Along with her partner Robert Pawklik, they will warm up the night at the GWK Cultural Park together with an exclusive fine dining menu served by Jendela Bali Restaurant.
Dinner by Jendela Bali Restaurant will be a Full Set Dinner Course with exclusive Wine Pairing by Sababay. Guests will enjoy Pan Seared Scallop on Bed of Spinach with Supreme Sauce. TheEntrée is available in two choices Chili Coriander Crusted Lamb Chop or Pan Fried Salmon Fillet, each served with a condiment such as Cilantro Yoghurt Sauce or Creamy Pink Pepper Sauce. The sweet sensation of Cream of Panna Cotta with Wild Berry coulis is available as dessert.
