Teras Ubud by Plataran is set to launch an exciting new food and drinks menu, further consolidating the venue’s reputation as one of the best eateries and places to drink in Ubud.

The Menu

The brand-new Signature Menu from Teras Ubud by Plataran offers guests a taste of distinctive Balinese and Indonesian dishes, accompanied by a flavorful and unique taste of drinks. Nasi Berempah Beef Rendang, recently voted Asia’s most delicious dish by CNN, provides a signature taste of Sumatra and one of Indonesia’s most iconic recipes. Closer to home, Teras Ubud by Plataran will also serve up Nasi Goreng Cekuh with Pork Belly Sambal Matah; a spicy and delicious Balinese classic dish that’s a must-try for visitors to the island. The trilogy of Indonesian cuisine is completed by Ayam Salad Mangga; steamed rice with deep-fried chicken, carrots, pomelo, mango and tangy Thai sauce.

Teras Ubud by Plataran’s new menu will also include three Signature Beverages: Tropical Blues, which blends lime, mint, blue curacao syrup and soda in a sweet and colorful concoction; Virgin Naughty Lady, combining lemon, strawberry, almond and ginger ale for a refreshing and guilt-free tipple; and Mint “De” Rita, which offers a simple yet satisfying combo of mint leaf, sweet & sour and mint syrup. Each of the new signature beverages offers a taste of the tropical sun, served up in the stylish, elegant and quintessentially Balinese surroundings of Teras Ubud by Plataran.

The Venue

Located on Ubud’s lively Hanoman Street, Teras Ubud by Plataran restaurant and bar lets passers-by and guests of Plataran Ubud Hotel and Spa to beat the tropical heat and get some refreshment. Teras Ubud by Plataran’s drinking and dining spaces offer a mix of large tables for group bookings, and little nooks for intimate meetings and cozy chats. A main dining area backs onto a bar, where rustic bare brickwork is contrasted by soft wooden furnishings and ornate Balinese artwork. Elsewhere, guests can gather together with friends on soft sofas or under the swooping rafters of a dedicated attic dining space. Teras Ubud by Plataran’s very own gelato bar provides sweet treats during the daytime, or guests can celebrate after dark with exotic cocktails and mocktails crafted from Bali’s fresh tropical ingredients.
