26-29 September 2019
An annual event held along Kalibukbuk Beach in North Bali. It’s a wonderful event that highlights the culture and traditions of the Balinese people, especially those living in the northern region. Guests can expect handicraft exhibitions, photography contests, bull races, traditional Balinese marching band, a towering fruit and flower offering parade, traditional puppet performances and plenty of live music. You can also enjoy classic Balinese dances which will include the more popular and renowned dances as well as those that are unique to the north including Ki Barak Panji Sakti and Gong Kebyar. While you’re there, don’t forget to try delicious Balinese sweets, snacks, and favourite dishes that are handmade by the locals themselves. Lovina is only 3-4 hours away from Kuta; a day trip to the North will be rewarding and fulfilling with beautiful sceneries and fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of the South.
