Mason Adventures has become the first Elephant Park in Indonesia and all of Asia to be presented with a Gold Level Accreditation from the Animal Welfare company, ASIAN CAPTIVE ELEPHANT STANDARDS, (ACES). This award and certification comes after an intensive and comprehensive Audit that has taken 1 ½ years to complete. No other Elephant company in the whole of Asia has achieved this high standard.
It is important to point out that to achieve this high Gold Standard Award, Mason Adventures had to do many upgrades and re-building at the Elephant Park, including purchasing extra new land, building a new complete watering system for each elephant, a comprehensive new free roam area, enlargement of all elephant ‘pads’ and numerous new tree planting to create more shade. This, on top of many new features for easier guest access and better facilities. Still in process is the new 150 seat covered theatre (due to open early 2020), and a new modern 21st century kitchen (due to completion February 2020), which will further improve food standards and menu choices. In the past 2 years, almost $2 million has been spent by the Mason family on these massive new improvements.
Mason Adventures will receive this official certificate and acknowledgement on the 20th November 2019 in front of VIPs guests and Media. This is a very special event as it finally puts to rest the emotional and incorrect stories and accusations by Animal Activists and certain media that have sometimes been made against Mason Adventures unfairly and with no proof.
Mason Adventures welcome any of its friends and partners to attend this day, to be held at the Mason Elephant Park on Wednesday 20th November 2019. Please contact Mason Adventures personally for further information or details.
The company remains dedicated to the welfare and protection of its herd of 32 Sumatran Elephants and to giving them a comfortable, long and happy life and to giving its guests an experience that is life changing and second to none in Bali.
