A French citizen reportedly disappeared at Pasut Beach, Tabanan on Monday (11/11), NusaBali says. The seventy-five-year-old guy last seen swimming after cycling throughout the rice field and beaches in Pupuan district. The search is still underway, but the man is yet to be found.
According to NusaBali on Tuesday (11/12), the missing French departed from Sanurat 8 am with his group of eleven people to Tabanan for cycling. There were two tour guides with them, I Made Muartika and I Gede Nova Suastina.
The group started cycling to Pupuan, Bajera village and then to Pasut beach in Kerambitan. At Pasut beach, the group went to have some rest. some of them even went swimming including Guidot Gilbert. Several warns have been informed but it was ignored. Guidot was swimming too far until a sudden big wave came and pull him out to the open sea.
The incident then reported to the police and to the agency of search and rescue Bali. Both locals and the agency join the search. They have searched since yesterday throughout the coastline. However, Guidot Gilbert is yet to be found. Officers are still looking for the missing tourist.
