Bali will once again to host an international scale event, the Asian Animation Summit. The event will take place in 2020 and 2021, featuring animators across Asia continent to showcase their animated projects to international investors.
As reported on Kidscreen official website on November 22th, the agency has signed the agreement with BEKFRAF Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy regarding the upcoming Asian Animation Summit in Bali.
“We are very grateful for this collaboration. We plan to promote the Indonesian animation industry, globally, and this provides momentum” stated Fadjar Hutomo, the deputy chairman at BEKRAF.
The Asian Animation Summit is an annual event by Kidscreen, bringing Asia’s strongest animated projects to international investors and partners. This year, the event took place form November 20 to 22 in Seoul, South Korea, presenting various animated and mixed-media TV/web series for children aged up to 15 years old. The summit has been successfully debuted some animated shows to production, including Bluey (2016) and Balloon Barnyard (2014).
