With the festive season fast approaching, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali promises another exceptional program of activities featuring something for everyone. This year-end holiday will be jam-packed with family-friendly celebrations and versatile dining experiences.
As always, the resort will start things off on Christmas Eve with its annual cocktail party at The Lobby Bar & Lounge. This social gathering will invite in-house guests to connect and embrace the spirit of the season over drinks and light bites. Cheerful tunes will set the mood and Santa Claus will be on hand to greet little ones.
A superb Christmas Eve dinner will be served under the stars in a magical poolside setting. Appetites will be satisfied with festive favourites and succulent seafood accompanied by live music and a dynamic fire dance performance. Engaging activities will keep youngsters amused during the evening with fun games and novelties.
For an alternative dining option, Hamabe will be serving authentic Japanese cuisine with unlimited sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki and robatayaki tasting dishes. An a la carte menu will also be available at Ikan overlooking the resort’s tranquil stretch of white sand beach, while Prego will present its regular menu of flavoursome Italian fare. For after-dark relaxation, Beach Lounge will be open until midnight for adults to enjoy drinks, shisha and chill-out tunes.
In-house children will have their very own celebration on Christmas Day starting off with a fun party and family breakfast in the decorated ambience of Nusantara Room. Hosted by the team from Westin Family Kids Club, there’ll be games, a magic show, a visit from Santa and activities galore. Parents are welcome to come along and join in the merriment from 8.00 am onwards.
Christmas Day Brunch at Prego will be a joyful celebration featuring an extensive buffet of delicious dishes including a live grill station that will have guests coming back for more. Entertainment and activities set up in the adjacent garden will include balloons, magic tricks and photo opportunities. Santa will also be stopping by with his sack filled with treats.
A choice of different dinner options will be available on Christmas Night. The menu at Prego will be a la carte, and Hamabe will be tantalizing taste buds with Japanese speciality dishes. Meanwhile, comfort food and different sporting activities will be on offer at Velada. For something a little more substantial, Ikan will present its regular menu of succulent seafood and other local flavours in a relaxed beachside environment.
New Year’s Eve at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali will be a time to eat, drink and be merry with Cirque du Bali. A tantalizing ‘Around the World’ buffet will be paired with live music and fabulous entertainment. Ikan Restaurant will bid farewell to 2019 in true style with a sophisticated five-course dinner by the beach accompanied by feel-good music.
Beach Lounge will be ringing in the New Year with a tropical party complete with live DJ music and dancing on the sand. There’ll be trumpets to blow for the midnight countdown and the night sky will erupt into vibrant shades of colour with a display of fireworks at the ocean’s edge. The bar will remain open until 2 am for all in-house revellers.
The entire month of December promises to be one big celebration. However, in between the special days, there will be lots of different dining events on offer such as Flavors of South East Asia, Taste of India and even a Chinese Food Fair. These one-off promotions are intended to complement what is available at the resort’s regular dining venues including Italian favourites at Prego and authentic Japanese cuisine at Hamabe.
Lastly, Prego will welcome the first day of 2020 with its signature brunch to replenish energy levels with delicious Italian dishes and sweet treats from a dedicated dessert station.
