Jamie Oliver Kitchen
at Hard Rock Hotel Bali
Jamie Oliver’s international restaurant business is launching a brand new all-day dining concept, Jamie Oliver Kitchen, bringing diners around the world delicious, accessible food from a diverse and exciting menu – celebrating Jamie’s journey through food over the past 20 years.
Whether it’s a quiet coffee, a casual lunch, a quick post-surf pizza, drinks with friends, a simple or full-on dinner – Jamie Oliver Kitchen will offer all-day eating at its best. From the ultimate in comfort food or super-tasty, healthier choices, the restaurant will cover all the bases with a whole host of enticing, tempting dishes, using only the best ingredients.
Menus will tap into the very best of Jamie Oliver, and be easily adapted to local flavours and food trends, giving each restaurant flexibility and the ability to evolve alongside changing consumer tastes.
Jamie Oliver Kitchen restaurants have a relaxed and contemporary feel, and key features include a welcoming open kitchen, a cafe area, flexible seating with both larger tables for sharing and soft areas to lounge in, as well as casual bar dining. This is modern casual dining at its best and is exactly the kind of food that Jamie enjoys with his own family and friends.
Jamie Oliver said: “Over the past 20 years, I have travelled around the world to discover exciting flavour combinations, picking up incredible influences along the way. The new restaurants will bring those inspirations to life and serve some of my absolute all-time favourites. Whether you want to grab a quick bite in a relaxed setting, have a proper sit-down meal with friends and family, or grab a drink at the bar, we have created a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy the food I truly love.”
One of the first two sites which opened under the new concept is in Bali Kuta Beach. This site was converted from a Jamie’s Italian that opened in 2015 and reopened as Jamie Oliver Kitchen on the 21st November 2019.
“It’s been a great 4.5 years serving our lovely guests under Jamie’s Italian Kuta Beach brand. I believe we have a special place in our customers’ hearts. Now, it gets even better. With the new concept, Jamie Oliver Kitchen Kuta Beach, we’ll have even more exciting options on our menu. I can’t wait to share this excitement with our customers”, said General Manager, Erickson Hutagaol.
In Jamie Oliver Kitchen Bali, the menu showcases delicious smashing fish cake, BBQ pork ribs, beef burgers, pepperoni pizza, fried noodles, summer rolls and chicken wings, hearty Gado Gado, Jamie’s insanity burger and a brilliant chicken parmigiana. In terms of beverages, the menu will offer new cocktails, mocktails and a smoothies menu perfectly attuned to Kuta Beach’s weather.
Jovan Koraag, the restaurant’s Head Chef, stated, “Jamie Oliver has always been my inspiration to be in this business. I started my career in his restaurant group as Junior Sous Chef 4 years ago. I love the new concept and brand. It’s fantastic to see Jamie Oliver’s recipes from the last 20 years coming to life with the new concept. With support from HPL (Hotel Property Limited) as well, it’s been amazing to be a part of this.”
Jamie Oliver Kitchen Bali sits alongside the other brands in the international restaurant portfolio: Jamie’s Italian, Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria, Jamie’s Deli and Jamie Oliver’s Diner. The Jamie Oliver Group currently operates 70 restaurants across 27 markets, collaborating with 20 franchise partners. A further 19 openings are currently planned up until the end of 2020.
