Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali takes great pleasure to announce the recent appointments of Mr. Adi Karang as Director of Revenue and Mr. Made Susanta as Director of Engineering.
Adi Karang is a highly experienced hotel professional and revenue leader. After completing his Diploma in Hotelier Accommodation at Polytechnic BLK Denpasar, he proceeded to embark on a career in Bali’s evolving hospitality industry with Accor Hotels. Adi’s first role was as a Reservation Agent at Sofitel Seminyak Bali in 2006, a luxury property which was later rebranded as The Royal Beach Seminyak.
Over the ensuing years, Adi was elevated through the ranks where he enjoyed a succession of appointments at other properties in Bali under the Accor Hotels banner. His extensive understanding about market trends, budgeting, driving revenue, achieving targets and Accor brand standards will be put to good use at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali.
“In my capacity as Director of Revenue, I am looking forward to applying all of my expertise and mentoring an upcoming generation of aspiring hoteliers. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali has only just become part of Accor Hotels and the transition is still ongoing. My role will be to navigate the process and take care of any challenges along the way,” says Mr. Adi Karang.
The other newcomer to Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is Mr. Made Susanta as Director of Engineering. He comes to the role with a Diploma in Technical Machinery from the Polytechnic University Bali. Made is no stranger to Bali and he has worked exclusively in the island’s luxury hotel sector for almost a decade in the area of engineering. His career with Accor Hotels began in 2015 where he handled Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua for four years.
Backed by his comprehensive experience and knowledge, Made is passionate about the technical challenges faced by Bali’s engineering industry. He is eager for Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali to retain its award-winning status as a lifestyle property that caters specifically to families and fun-loving travellers.
“It is my understanding that guest satisfaction depends largely on having a fully functioning room and supporting facilities. Therefore, it is my responsibility as Director of Engineering to be proactive at all times and address technical issues within the hotel before they become a major inconvenience,” says Mr. Made Susanta.
Adi and Made are welcome additions to the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali team. They are both poised to provide the necessary operational support to engage and cater to the needs of an even wider audience of international travellers.
