238 Indonesian citizens currently quarantined in Natuna will soon be able to return to their respective hometowns as the 14-day quarantine period will soon be over. The quarantined citizens evacuated from Wuhan, China are expected to be flown to Jakarta this weekend.
Medical examinations found that all of the evacuees and all involved with the operation are in good health and showed no symptoms of infection from the Corona Virus COVID-19.
The evacuees will depart from Natuna to Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to undergo a final health check before being sent home.
“Yesterday at the Coordinating Ministry for PMK, it was concluded that the observation will end on February 15th at 12.00. On Saturday morning, we will conduct a final health check and thereafter, preparations to send all involved to Jakarta,” said the Secretary General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Achmad Yurianto, to the media via telephone in Jakarta, Thursday (02/13/2020).
