#1 Eco-Friendly Ogoh-Ogoh Festival 2020

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park is the window to see Bali and Indonesia’s heritage. As a consistent effort to showcase Bali and Indonesia, GWK Cultural Park continuously features the richness of Indonesia’s and Bali’s cultural heritage through various art events.

This year, GWK Cultural Park in collaboration with one of the pioneers of Eco-friendly Ogoh-Ogoh in Bali, Putu Marmar Herayukti, will hold the #1 Eco-Friendly Ogoh-Ogoh Festival 2020 starting from March 20th to April 5th, 2020.

This festival will be held with several series of activities. Starting with the Mini Ogoh-Ogoh Competition on March 20th, with participants from all over Bali. Another activity offered during this event is a live workshop for the creation of the Eco-Friendly Ogoh-Ogoh, where visitors are invited to build the Ogoh-Ogoh. There will also be an exhibition of Eco-Friendly Ogoh-ogoh with various sizes displayed at the Festival Park during the event. In addition, visitors will also be presented with various Balinese cultural performances such as dances, art parades, food bazaars as well as the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Kecak dance performance as the most anticipated performance everyday.
