For citizens who want to find information about the Covid-19 coronavirus in Indonesia, they can now take advantage of the WhatsApp chatbot account that has been released by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) on Thursday (19/3).

“It can already be tried by the community. Yesterday we had a successful trial,” said Director General of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Ahmad M. Ramli, when contacted via telephone by Detik today (20/3).

To try it, residents can add the contact number +62 811-3339-9000 into their smartphone, and then simply type “Hello” or “Hi”.

Automatically, the account will reply to your message and will ask about what information you want to know about the coronavirus in Indonesia. By typing A, B, C, D, E, F or G, this chatbot directly responds to standard questions.

In addition to the Whatsapp chatbot, the public can also access up-to-date information about the development of the coronavirus through the official website that has been prepared by the Government of Indonesia:
