This Bohemian-inspired beachside concept meaning “heaven” in Persian, is set to open its doors in the southernmost point of Bali on April 15, 2020. Settled alongside Melasti Beach in the pristine Ungasan region, Minoo Beach Club is a slice of paradise in the Bukit Peninsula.
A 100 seat restaurant will greet guests, accompanied by 38 sun loungers and a 15-capacity alfresco dining area. Two impressive options for cooling off are available – Minoo Beach Club boasts direct beach access as well as a swimming pool.
Head chef Robby Fahmi Kurniawan has used his nine years of experience in the hospitality industry to sculpt a specialty menu which merges classic Western and Asian flavours. The dining experience takes inspiration from the local fishing industry. “Minoo’s food specialty is seafood, as the beach club sits on what was once a fishing village,” says Chef Robby. “It’s our history that we’ve used to draw inspiration for most of the menu, as well as its interiors – the restaurant itself is a former fishing boat”.
Siganture dishes for the new venue will include a ‘catch of the day’. Working in collaboration with local fishermen for fresh seafood, dishes will prepared to guests’ preferences, whether that be grilled, pan-fried, wok-fried or steamed.
