Indonesia has updated new totals for cases of Covid-19, announcing 973 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 20,162 cases. As of Thursday (21/5/2020), there have been 4,838 recoveries and 1,278 deaths recorded.
“Positive confirmed cases of Covid-19, today has increased by 973 people. This increase is extraordinary and this increase is the highest to date. The highest increase occurred in East Java in particular,” said the government spokesman for handling the COVID-19 virus, Achmad Yurianto, Thursday (21/5/2020).
The Governor of Bali and the Provincial Government of Bali in cooperation with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation have issued a decree through the Office of the Airport Authority in the context of management of the Covid-19 pandemic:
1. Passengers who arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali shall be required to show negative results of a PCR-based Swab Test issued by Government Hospital Laboratories, Regional Government or other laboratories appointed by the Covid-19 Task Force;
2. Prospective passengers departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Denpasar) are required to provide a Statement Letter showing negative results for Covid-19 from a Swab Test or Rapid Test from within 7 days from the time of arrival at the I Gusti Ngurah Airport Rai – Bali.
3. When a prospective passenger purchases an airplane ticket, the flight operator must verify the Statement Letter/ Certificate as referred to in item 2.
