A mass gathering of yogis was attended by dozens of foreign citizens at the House of Om Community on Thursday in Gianyar.
The House of Om Bali case which involved a mass yoga event held in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic has captured the attention of the Regent of Gianyar, Made Mahayastra on Monday (22/6).
It has been confirmed that these activities took place during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Tomorrow morning, the manager will be called by the Regent and given a warning; this has been facilitated by the Head of the Licensing Office” said the Chief of the Gianyar Covid-19 Task Force Made Gede Wisnu Wijaya, after conducting an investigation of the alleged mass yoga event conducted by the House of OM Bali in the Bitera Village, Gianyar.
An Instagram post from a House of Om account has expressed its guilt over activities involving a large group of people during the pandemic.
The report to the public was made from the well respected local activist Niluh Djelantik on her Facebook account, voicing her concerns about Covid-19 protocols not being implemented at this event.
