Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 continue to be implemented by the Bangli Regency Government. One initiative requires citizens visiting the Kintamani tourist attraction areas to be in possession of the results of the non-reactive Covid-19 rapid test.
Checking of test results will involve officers from the tourist management agency and security personnel. Requirements to show the results of rapid tests start on Wednesday (24/6/2020).
Confirmation of this new policy was conveyed by the Regent of Bangli I Made Gianyar on Tuesday (23/6/2020).
According to the regent from Bunutin Village in the Kintamani District, Bangli tourism is indeed not yet formally open. Of course, directives from the central government are required to formally re-open tourism. However, restaurants have opened earlier.
If they do not complete these requirements, the person is instructed to turn around by the officer. Checks will be made at the entrance of the Kintamani area. Rapid tests are required for visitors to local tourist attractions only, whereas for people who are only passing through, it is sufficient to present their identity cards (KTP).
