The percentage of Covid-19 patients officially declared recovered in Bali has reached 87.10%.

Based on data as of Sunday (9/8), 29 patients were declared recovered over the previous day. Cumulatively 3,269 people have now been declared recovered from Covid-19 in Bali.

There were no additional deaths related to Covid-19; the total deaths due to Covid-19 remain at 49 (1.3% mortality rate).

Even though the number of recoveries continues to increase and the mortality rate is relatively low, the Bali Covid-19 Task Force Team still noted the increase of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Bali.

Cumulatively, the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Bali now stands at 3,779 after the addition of 59 cases (56 via local transmission and 3 imported cases). Confirmed cases of Covid-19 are still dominated by local transmissions.

461 active cases continue to receive treatment in Bali. These cases are being quarantined and treated in 17 hospitals at local hospitals, health centers and designated hotels.
