Garuda Indonesia has launched a free antigen rapid test service program for all passengers on domestic routes.
The provision of free rapid antigen services can be obtained by prospective passengers purchasing tickets through official Garuda Indonesia ticket sales channels from March 2 – March 31, 2021.
President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfaniaputra, said that this program is part of Garuda Indonesia’s commitment to providing added value to aviation services for air travelers, specifically during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Of course we hope that the presence of this free antigen rapid test service can further increase public interest in flying again with the various conveniences presented to fulfill travel document requirements in the form of a Covid-19 free certificate,” said Irfan in a written statement on Friday (5/3).
Irfan added that the free rapid antigen service offered by Garuda Indonesia can be integrated directly with the E-Hac application.
This way, passengers can enjoy integrated services starting from the antigen test to the check-in process at the airport.
“The support for the provision of free antigen rapid test services is certainly in line with our commitment to always provide a safe and comfortable flight experience through the accessibility of services in the new normal era, in line with efforts to implement health protocols that are consistently implemented at all touch points of Garuda’s Indonesia’s flight services,” he said.
Passengers can get a free antigen rapid test service after completing the ticket transaction process either through the official website, mobile app, contact center, or Garuda Indonesia official online and offline travel agents.
Prospective passengers will get an email notification containing the claim link for the free rapid test antigen voucher according to the e-mail data registered with the booking code.
During these early stages, Garuda Indonesia is collaborating with 66 clinics providing antigen rapid test services spread across 33 major cities in Indonesia.
